The Department of English at the University of New England invites proposals for "Guilt: A Conference on Law & Humanities." We welcome individual papers or complete panels from scholars of law and jurisprudence as well as from across the humanities.
Keynote speaker: Austin Sarat, founder of the Department of Law, Jurisprudence, and Social Thought at Amherst College and president of the Association for the Study of Law, Culture, and the Humanities.
