Latin American Representations: Gender, Class, Colour, and Nation.
Green College and the Latin American Studies Program at UBC announce an interdisciplinary graduate student conference to be held January 17 and 18, 2003, at Green College, University of British Columbia.
The conference aims to highlight the recent emphasis on culture and representation in current research on Latin America. This will be an opportunity for graduate students to discuss their work with their peers and established scholars in the field. The goal of the conference is to foster a community of scholars on Latin America.
Keynote speakers: Dr. William Rowe and Dr. Anne Rubenstein
