Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean during the cold war era is an international conference, which will gather some of the most prominent scholars to discuss new methodologies, approaches and interpretations of the cold war in Latin America. Based on new archival findings in Mexico, Guatemala, Argentina, Cuba, Russia and the United States, the conference participants will broach subjects such as the regional cold war diplomacy together with local labor and cultural environments which influenced and were affected by the global confrontation.
