We are inviting editorial contributors to the Encyclopedia of Capitalism
This is a three-volume encyclopedia for public libraries, high-school and undergrad college libraries to be published by Facts On File in 2004. Some 700 articles cover the historical contexts and rise of capitalism in terms of countries, wars, people, companies, markets, and events. The General Editor for the Encyclopedia is Dr. Syed B. Hussain, of the University of Wisconsin, who will review all the articles for academic consistency.
If you are interested in contributing to the Encyclopedia, it can be a notable publication addition to your resume and broaden your publishing credits. There is also a small honorarium paid for each article, $25 to $150, depending on article length (250 words to 5,000 words). Each contributor needs to write 5 to 10 articles by March 1, 2003.
The list of articles is already prepared, and as a next step we e-mail you the article list from which you can select unassigned topics that best fit your expertise and time constraints.
Please contact me by e-mail or phone (below) by October 31, 2003 to receive a copy of the article list for your review and article selection. Thanks very much.
