The panel "Western Perception of East-European Identities" accepts papers and ready panels treating any aspect of popular culture and academic thought about the construction of East-European identities in the western mind.

Those interested in presenting a paper should send a 500-word paper proposal by e-mail no later than November 12, 2002. You should also include a brief biographical sketch.
