The Leslie Nicholas Lecture: Martin J. Blaser on the evolution of concepts about gastric bacteria

The College of Physicians of Philadelphia and its Section on Medical history present the 2002 Leslie Nicholas Lecture. Martin J. Blaser, MD (New York University School of Medicine) will deliver a talk entitled "Evolution of Our Concepts about Gastric Bacteria: Heliobacter Pylori and Implications for Health and Disease." The venue for the talk is listed below. The talk, free and open to all, starts at 6:15. A cocktail buffet, at $30.00/person, will follow. Dr. Blaser's talk will be of interest to anyone interested in the history of beliefs about gastric ulcer.
