CALL FOR ARTICLES
The ASIAN-PACIFIC LAW & POLICY JOURNAL (APLPJ), a publication of the University of Hawaii, William S. Richardson School of Law, invites authors to submit original articles on issues that impact the Asian and Pacific region.
APLPJ is the first fully functional web-based legal journal focusing exclusively on Asia and the Pacific Rim. APLPJ provides authors with a global forum, stimulating research and discussion of law and policy issues arising in or impacting Asia and the Pacific.
The APLPJ invites authors of original works in the following
categories to submit their work for consideration for our February and June 2003 issues:
Articles and commentaries addressing legal or policy developments arising in or impacting Asia and the Pacific Rim.
Practitioner guides providing timely, practical information for legal practitioners.
English-language translations of laws, regulations, or articles from Asian/Pacific nations.

Format: All submissions should be formatted as a Microsoft Word for Windows document. The file can be mailed on diskette or e-mailed as an attachment to the address below. Margins should be 1 inch (2.5 cm) on each side and paragraphs should be indented 0.5 inch (1.25 cm). All documents should be double-spaced and include a table of contents. To the extent possible, footnotes or endnotes should follow the format specified in THE BLUEBOOK: A UNIFORM SYSTEM OF CITATION (Columbia Law Review Ass’n et al. eds., 17th ed. 2000).
Deadlines: Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis. All submissions will be reviewed by the Publishability Committee, which will consider, among other things, the quality of the writing, the timeliness of the topic, and the importance of the issue to Asia and the Pacific Rim.
