The South Eastern Regional Seminar of African Studies (SERSAS) is pleased to announce the second call for papers for its annual Fall meeting and conference. The meeting will be hosted Nov. 8/9 2002 on the beautiful campus of Clemson University in Clemson SC.
This CFP is currently open in terms of disciplines and topics, and propsective particpants are invited to propose panels as well as individual papers. We currently have two panels organized; one on Congo Crises, and one on Resistance Movements in South Africa. Prospective participants are also welcome to submit proposals for either of these panels.
SERSAS prides itself on providing an informal, collegial environment for the exchange of academic ideas and papers relating to African studies. Advanced graduate students are welcome to submit work-in-progress proposals and faculty are encouraged to bring along advanced graduate students.

The Conference will be held in the Holtzendorf Hall auditorium on November 9th (Saturday) beginning at 8:30 a.am. (Building 57 on the linked map of Clemson University.)
