Arcadia Publishing seeks people interested in working with us on photo histories of towns, cities, and communities in Maryland, Delaware, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Florida. The Images of America series tells the histories of communities through vintage photographs and well-researched captions. Our Black America series tells the unique story of African American communities. Books are 128 pages and retail for $19.99. Authors must be willing to invest their time and energy into the book projects. Authors are responsible for gathering pictures and organizing the materials. We are not a vanity press but finance the entire publishing process from editing through publicity, marketing, and distribution. Royalties are paid to all authors. Anyone interested in receiving more detailed information about the company and our publishing opportunities should contact me.
