The 2003 Missouri Conference on History, hosted by Southeast Missouri State University, will be held April 24-26, 2003 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. On the bicentennial of Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery, we invite paper and panel proposals on the broad themes of exploration and discovery through time in American, European, and non-Western history. In addition we also invite proposals on all aspects of history including Missouri and Midwestern, Historic Preservation, and Public History. Complete panel proposals are preferred. Please send a 100-200 word abstract and brief C.V. by January 1, 2003 to:
