Academics, postgraduate students, teachers, archivists, and others are invited to a one-day, interdisciplinary symposium on the subject of women religious with particular emphasis on Britain and Ireland. Topics will range from late medieval to twenty-first century women religious and encompass a variety of themes including patterns of vocations, the business of running convents, subjectivities of self, texts, and issues of class.
