The Pennsylvania Historical Association invites proposals for papers, panels, roundtables, and workshops on any aspect of the history of the Mid-Atlantic region and/or Pennsylvania for its annual meeting, October 23-25, 2003, in Harrisburg. We encourage proposals based on documentary research, material and popular culture, oral history, and other sources concerning any period. This meeting will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Pennsylvania State Archives; we welcome proposals on the issues and practice of public history.
Paper proposals should include a one-page abstract of the paper and a one-page vita. Panel, roundtable, and workshop proposals should include an abstract of the proposed session and a one-page vita for each participant. Send proposals to the address below. Deadline: January 15, 2003.
