UCLA Extension offers an online course in Business Writing for ESL Professionals

Designed for business professionals with high-intermediate or advanced English skills, this online course focuses on such practical issues in business writing as considering the audience and writing in different formats, including e-mails, memos, letters, and short reports. Weekly assignments are designed to improve organization, clarity, and style, as well as sharpen grammar and punctuation. The course is taught completely online and features lectures, discussions, and feedback from writing partners and the instructor. Enrollment limited. Currently, UCLA Extension offers a $25 discount to first-time online students. All that is necessary is to indicate a first-time status at enrollment (via fax, phone or online); this offer cannot be combined with another discount offer and is limited to one online course.
The platform utilized for UCLA Extension online courses is Blackboard and below is the URL for an online course orientation/introduction. The technical requirements are a PC or Mac, Internet Explorer 4.0 (or higher), or Netscape Navigator 4.0 (or higher). Furthermore, course managers are available via phone, fax and email to guide all online students through the process.
