The BORDERPANIC Symposium brings together thinkers, lawyers and activists speaking about the current preoccupation with geopolitical and metaphorical borders. Julian Burnside QC, Dr Ghassan Hage, Dr Nikos Papastergiadis Dr Suvendrini Perera and Cathy Craigie will be questioning the media rush on border security.
The Museum of Contemporary Art is hosting the symposium in association with the current Reporting the World: John Pilger's Great Eyewitness Photographers exhibition.
