The Department of Journalism of the Faculty for Political and Administrative Sciences of the Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania is pleased to organize with the help of the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation (Munich/Germany and Bucharest/Romania) the conference with the title: Contemporary Tendencies in Journalism. It is a large subject and we are interest in analyzing the development of the print media, radio, television and new media regarding the contents and the form of presentations.
This event will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania during October the 11th and the 13th 2002. The languages of the conference are English, German and Romanian. Translation in each of these languages will be done. Cluj-Napoca is the biggest city in Transylvania and is also reachable by airplane.
Applications containing a short CV and a 500 words abstract in English, German or Romanian must be sent by September 20th 2002. We encourage both young graduate and Ph.D. Students and senior scholars to apply. For further information and for the applications please contact Delia Balaban.
