Forgotten Patriots Seminar: African-American and Native American Patriots of the American Revolution

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is pleased to announce a one-day seminar on Saturday, January 11, 2003,"Forgotten Patriots: African-American and American Indian Patriots in the American Revolution" to be held at NSDAR Headquarters in downtown Washington, DC. The recently completed program with detailed information on the seminar will be posted on our website (www.dar.org)in early September 2002. Seminar brochures and small posters may be requested by sending an email with mailing instructions. Historians from around the country will present papers and commentary on subjects relating to minority participation in the American Revolution. The seminar is being held in conjunction with an exhibit of the same title in the DAR Museum which opens on October 18, 2002. Registration is free and open to all interested parties.
