Hoover Institution Library and Archives – Redesigned Web Site Launched
Hoover Institution Library and Archives is happy to unveil our redesigned web site. The site provides weekly updates on events, new acquisitions, the Hoover Institution Library reorganization, joint projects, regulations, exhibits, etc. Now it’s easier than ever to send a reference question using the simple online form. The restructured navigation makes it easier to get around, and subnavigation on long pages eliminates scrolling. Every page has a direct link to the finding aids for archival collections located on the Online Archive of California site. Reproductions of posters and photographs from the Hoover Institution Archives’ collections enhance the site. The visual tours of the Herbert Hoover Memorial Exhibit Pavilion and Herbert Hoover and Lou Henry Hoover Rooms in the Hoover Tower make these unique venues easily accessible for Internet users. The site provides for viewing a few selected programs from the recently acquired broadcast archives of William F. Buckley Jr.'s television program, Firing Line. This user friendly and helpful web site will be an important hub of information for students and researchers from the campus, as well as for a wide range of other visitors. Your feedback and suggestions on the new site are greatly appreciated.
