The Oxford Austrian Studies Association (http://oasa.5er.com), an
interdiscplinary group of graduate students in the field of Austrian and Central European Studies at the University of Oxford, announces the launch of the online review, COMPASS.
Conceived as a forum and aid for graduate research, COMPASS has four sections:
- The Review is an occasional series of purpose-written articles grouped around a central theme. The latest edition focuses on Austrian theatre studies, and is co-edited by Robert Pyrah and Dr Deborah Holmes.
- Directions will showcase graduate papers in the field, with editorial affiliation to Oxford Austrian and Central European Studies.
- Digest brings together brief reviews and content-summaries of online journals, coupled with short editorial selections of articles, accessible by links.
- JOURNALS offers a selection of links to journals in the field, grouped by category.
A selection of papers from the recent major international conference held at St. Antony's College, Oxford, in May is due to appear in COMPASS in forthcoming editions.
For all general publishing and site enquiries plus submissions, please contact: Robert Pyrah.
