Film and Philosophy, the journal of the Society for the Philosophic Study of the Contemporary Visual Arts (SPSCVA), has issued a call for papers for its first new general interest edition in over five years. Submissions are invited of articles that talk about films from any philosophical perspective. Preference is given for this edition to articles that discuss particular films. Subs should be no more than 25 pages typewritten (approx. 6500 words), and can be sent to the editor, Daniel Shaw, either by e-mail or surface mail, to the addresses included in the contact information. Deadline for submissions is September 1, 2002.
