“On the Move: Migration and the Reconstruction of Cultural Identity”
With the 40th annual James M. Callahan Lecture presented by Dr. Joe William Trotter, Mellon Professor of History at Carnegie Mellon University.
The conference committee invites papers and panel proposals from any field of history that applies to this year’s theme. Completed panel proposals will be given preferential treatment. Abstracts will be accepted until September 1, 2002. Abstracts should be between 250 and 500 words in length and discuss the paper’s theme and its conclusions.
