Papers on all aspects of Illinois history, including Lincoln's legal career, antislavery movement, minority studies, and Chicago history. The 4th annual Conference on Illinois History, sponsored by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, will be held in Springfield, Illinois, October 3 and 4, 2002. The conference is accredited by the ISBE for Continuing Professional Development Units.

Registration: $30 ($15 for students)
Thursday luncheon featuring Jack White, "People and the Illinois Prairie," additional $20.
Thursday evening banquet featuring R. Stephen Sennott, editor of Buildings of Illinois, additional $35.
