This is the 13th Annual Workshop of the Women's Committee of the Economic History Society (UK). There will be an associated Roundtable at 5.15pm on November 8th. The venue for both events is the Institute of Historical Research in London. Rountable speakers include Amy Erickson and Leonore Davidoff. Conference speakers are Melanie Phillips (Daily Mail), Deborah Oxley (University of New South Wales), Sandra Cavallo (Royal Holloway), Cordelia Beattie (University of Edinburgh), Nicola Pullin (King Alfred's College), Catherine Horwood (Royal Holloway), Olwen Hufton (Oxford) and Pat Thane (London).
