The Second International Conference on Modern Religious Movements in Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and the Bábí and Bahá’í Faiths will be held on the campus of Landegg International University, from 27–29 November 2002. This follows the success of the inaugural International Conference on Modern Religious Movements in Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and the Bábí and Bahá’í Faiths, jointly sponsored by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Landegg International University, held in December 2000 in Jerusalem. At a time when the issue of the role of religion and modernity in world affairs has become the subject of utmost interest and relevance this conference is particularly poignant and the participation of scholars from a wide range of disciplines is encouraged.
