The graduate students of the Department of History at the University of Colorado at Boulder invite submissions for the Rocky Mountain Interdisciplinary History Conference 2002. This academic conference is designed specifically for graduate students in all disciplines, and seeks to provide a congenial atmosphere in which students may present work, network with fellow graduate students, gain experience in public speaking, and attend workshops specifically tailored to graduate student interests. First-time presenters are especially encouraged to participate.
Topics:
We welcome submissions from graduate students working in any discipline. Past participants have come from fields as diverse as history, political science, art history, philosophy, comparative literature, and theatre. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
- Regional, National, or International History
- Race and Ethnicity
- History of Ideas
- Economic Development
- History of Science and Technology
- Development of Social or Cultural Thought
- Public History
- Biographical Works
