with Lois Holzman
(Director of Research and Educational Programs at East Side Institute for Short Tem Psychotherapy, New York)
This forum is for everyone whose work focuses on the theory and practice of working with young people in educational, community and youth work contexts who wish to explore and develop alternative possibilities for helping young people on the margins.
Lois Holzman will draw on her wide repertoire of experience to explore the value of developmental/performative psychology as an untapped resource for educators and other youth work practitioners.
In this forum, participants will have the opportunity to explore the value of performative psychology in education, youth and social work interventions in the context of the dilemmas and possibilities they confront in their own work. It offers exciting possibilities for innovation in developing alternative education, social and youth work interventions with socially excluded young people.
