If the theorists grouped under the name of post-structuralism had anything in common, it was their thoroughgoing and passionate critique of humanism. What was the legacy of their anti-humanism? Did the anti-humanism of the 1960s and ’70s have a specificity, or are all anti-humanisms one? What is “post-humanism”? Does “globalization” challenge anti-humanism? Is there a new humanism?
