As editor for the Humanities at the Palma academic journal, I am looking for readers/referees in American Studies, English Studies, Linguistics, Modern Languages, Education, Sociology, Critical Theory, Cultural Theory, Classical Studies, Psychology, Philosophy, etc. The job, however, is not remunerated (sorry!) but referees would receive an official letter from the Palma Journal confirming the position. Referees would probably deal with a dozen articles a year (the journal issues twice a year).

The issuing institution is Notre Dame University (NDU), Lebanon, main campus in Zouk with two other campuses in the north and in the Chouf region. The distribution covers the academic population in Lebanon and we have plans to have it distributed regionally and even internationally. The language is English. An average issue contains around 12-15 articles.

As far as I know, this will be the first refereed academic journal in Lebanon. If you are interested in acting as readers, you will receive a past issue of Palma for information and a formal letter of acknowledgment. Please mention your areas of expertise as well.
