Khimiya/Chemistry, a peer-reviewed journal, is the Bulgarian Journal of Chemical Education. We provide a forum devoted to the discussion of philosophical issues that arise in chemistry. Interdisciplinary dialogue between philosophers, chemists, and other parties with an interest in chemistry is strongly encouraged.
Among new topics which the Editorial Board of Khimiya wants to develop are:
History and Philosophy of Chemistry:
Studies on the history of chemistry in Europe, in the Balkans and in Bulgaria, especially from the period of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom (1878 - 1946).
Chemistry and Society:
The public understanding of science and the public attitude towards scientific activity, technology and scientists; science and pseudo-science; science and the media; science, science fiction and education.
