An innovative summer workshop exploring the teaching of American music in the social studies classroom, Summerwind Seminar 2002, will take place on June 20 and 21, 2002, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Student Center on the Georgia State University campus. This two-day seminar of special interest to middle and secondary level teachers of music, social studies, and language arts will feature Voices Across Time, a new classroom resource guide supported by recordings of historic American music.
