"Muggeridge Rediscovered," May 22-24, 2003, will celebrate the centenary of one of the twentieth-century's most prophetic and influential figures. "Muggeridge Rediscovered" is expected to draw scholars, clergy, media figures, and individuals from all walks of life, and intends to not only celebrate Muggeridge's diverse achievements as journalist, author, radio and television personality, soldier-spy, and Christian apologist, but also to introduce his work to new generations.
Interested presenters are invited to submit abstracts of 300 words for review by 31 July 2002. Abstracts should relate to some aspect of Muggeridge’s life or influence and should outline the scope of the papers and the principal areas for discussion. Synopses may be submitted electronically or by mail to the address on the attached form. Authors will be advised in October 2002 whether their abstract has been accepted. Final conference papers, of 5000 words, will be required by March 2003 to ensure inclusion in the Proceedings. Presentation time is expected to be 20 minutes. Papers will be accepted on the basis that authors pay the appropriate delegate fee and attend the conference.
