Marymount University in Arlington, VA will be holding a Shakespeare:Text and Performance course over the summer. The course will explore the history, context, and various approaches to performing Shakespeare, and will view various performances of his work as well. One activity will include the viewing of the Shakespeare Free For ALL in Washington, D.C.
The course can be taken for credit or for audit. The dates are Fridays and Saturdays. 5/17-18, 5/31-6/1, 6/14-15, 7/12-13.
This course is a great opportunity for educators for professional development.
