We would like to announce a new scholarly site http://www.marquette.edu/maqom/ dedicated to the Eastern Christian mysticism. The interdisciplinary seminar on the Jewish Roots of Eastern Christian Mysticism is designed as an internet version of an ongoing research seminar of the graduate students and scholars at the department of theology of Marquette University (Milwaukee, USA). The seminar is directed by Alexander Golitzin, a professor of eastern Christian theology at Marquette University. Fr. Golitzin's published work includes The Living Witness of the Holy Mountain: Contemporary Voices from Mt. Athos, and St. Symeon the New Theologian on the Mystical Life: The Ethical Discourses.
The new site includes important publications on the Orthodox texts and authors including Aphrahat, Jacob of Serug, the Macarian Homilies and Corpus Dionysiacum.
We will greatly appreciate if you can put our site on your page of links.
We appreciate your kind assistance.
