The California Council for the Promotion of History invites the submission of paper and panel proposals for its 2002 Annual Conference, "Public History on the Central Coast," to be held October 24-26, 2002, in San Luis Obispo, California.
Papers and panel proposals relating to the conference’s regional theme, “Public History on the Central Coast” are especially welcome, but the program committee also welcomes proposals in the fields of historic preservation, cultural resources management, museums, oral history, living history, archives and records management, local history, environmental history, and the history of California and the American West.
Panel proposals should include a chair/moderator and 2-3 presenters.
Send a brief CV/resume for each participant and an abstract (not to exceed 250 words) for each paper.
