The Midwest Popular Culture Association will be meeting at the Wyndham Milwaukee Center Hotel, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Friday through Sunday, October 4-6, 2002. We are seeking papers devoted to all aspects of teaching popular culture including methods, pedagogies, and strategies, course development and curricula as well as teaching philosophies and narratives. Proposals relating to any educational level (K-12, community college, college/university, etc.) are welcome.
PROPOSAL INFORMATION:
Submit one-page descriptions with title and summary (by post, FAX, or e-mail) to the Area Chair, Angela M. Nelson. A reply by e-mail will be sent within 3 weeks. All proposals should include contact information as well as audio-visual equipment requests (we cannot supply audio equipment, computers, or overhead projectors).
