We are seeking one or two additional papers for a panel on Mexican Colonial Art. This LASA 2003 session explores the breadth of research currently being conducted on the topic. Papers will address sixteenth-century manuscript painting, biombos, and late colonial book illustrations of slave uprisings. We are especially interested in topics from the seventeenth century. Interdisciplinary papers encouraged.
