Objects Talk! New Trends in Material Culture

Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, author of The Age of Homespun will keynote the Bay State Historical League's Annual Meeting, "Objects Talk! New Trends in Material Culture." The day-long conference will include sessions on using historical objects to interpret and teach history to the public. Speakers include William Fowler, Director, Massachusetts Historical Society, Barbara A. Levy, author of Great Tours! Thematic Tours and Guide Training for Historic Sites, and Robert P. Emlen, Department of American Civilization, Brown University.
