A conference on the topic of "Ancient Studies -- New Technology II: The World Wide Web and Scholarly Research, Communication, and Publication in Ancient, Byzantine, and Medieval Studies" will be held December 6-8, 2002, at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. 300-word electronic abstracts dealing with ways in which the WEB can help to promote ancient, Byzantine, and medieval studies or requests for information may be directed to Ralph Mathisen, Program Chair, at ralph.w.mathisen@sc.edu or to the address below.
