'The City as Text' is a one day postgraduate workshop hosted by the Urban Morphology Research Group in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences, University of Birmingham. The workshop is aimed at postgraduates from a variety of disciplines with an interest in the city as a historic artefact.
The aim is to expose postgraduates to the ideas used across different disciplines exploring urban form. The workshop will take the form of 8 papers discussing methodology and results, each 20 minutes to half an hour in length. Abstracts should be submitted by 30 July 2002.
