Souces of Radicalism, a one-day conference looking at the history of popular protest and radical social, political and cultural movements. The event aims to bring together historians, trade unionists and political activists in a day remembers and celebrates dissent. There will seminars on the General Strike, punk, disco, the Irish in Britain, feminism, the Pan African Congress of 1945 and much more. Speakers include Sally Alexander, Sheila Rowbotham, Bernadette Hyland and Dave Haslam.
