The staff of the Abraham Lincoln Historical Digitization Project would like to announce that the Lincoln/Net World Wide Web site (http://lincoln.lib.niu.edu) now includes streaming video files of leading historians discussing major themes in antebellum American history as they related to Abraham Lincoln and his Illinois.
These materials will be of interest to students, scholars, and members of the general public. Featured scholars include Eric Foner, Kathryn Kish Sklar, James O. Horton, John Mack Faragher, Julie Roy Jeffrey, and Michael Holt.
These materials complement Lincoln/Net's over six million words of searchable primary source materials (including Lincoln's writings as well as significant materials shedding light upon his political and social context), 1200 images, and 100 sound files.
