This seminar (based in her book ¿Que viva Eros?, from Post-Francoist subversion to thanatical posmodernism in the erotic narrative of contemporary Spanish women writers) examines novels and short stories by writers such as Consuelo García, María Jaén, Mercedes Abad, Almudena Grandes and Ana Rossetti. We will analyze the development of the discourse on sexuality in Spain, from the dictatorship of Franco, through the so-called "destape", up to our days, and at the same time we will expose myths and prejudices.
