The Eleventh Maritime History Conference of the Association for the History of Northern Seas will be held August 1–4, 2003 in Bremen, Germany. Proposals for contributions to this conference should be sent to Prof. Dr. Heide Gerstenberger before January 31st, 2003. Contributions to the whole range of the history of Northern Seas are welcome. Decisions on proposals will be made by March 1st, 2003. A separate conference web page will be posted shortly; until then, those interested should refer to the Association's web page where a link to the conferenc epage will be set up as soon as possible.
