I am trying to put together a panel entitled, "Activist Women in the Magnolia State."

My paper will be about an African American activist in Coahoma County, MS from the sixties to the present, but I welcome papers on nineteenth century activists too. The deadline for panel submission is August 15, 2002. Please reply off-list to: francoise.hamlin@yale.edu
