Arcadia Publishing seeks historians in North Carolina to produce visual histories of their communities. No financial commitment is necessary to participate, and we pay royalties to authors! Books contain an average of 200 photographs and captions, which together share the area's history. Authors will compile the materials; we handle printing, binding, and distribution. This is a great project for historical societies, museums, and other local groups, since the royalties can be used as fundraisers. Contact Laura Daniels for a sample book and more information.
