The AHRB Centre for North-East England History is a collaborative research centre funded by the Arts and Humanities Board of Great Britain and comprising the universities of Teesside, Northumbria, Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham, the Open University and Beamish Open Air Museum. The Centre has a growing web-site giving news of regional research from 1066 to the current day, research facilities, conferences and events, publications and links to many other useful sites.
