This call for papers is for the new Northeast Ohio Journal of History. Housed at the University of Akron, the Journal will serve as a web based, refereed journal that will focus on stimulating and publishing high-quality research based upon the rich archival, archaeological, and museum collections available from institutions in the Northeast Ohio region. We intend to publish quarterly beginning in Fall 2002.
The Journal seeks manuscripts based in history, archaeology, or anthropology. Interdisciplinary work is encouraged as is work addressing public history issues such as local history, oral history, or preservation. The time period is open but the main focus should be on the Northeast Ohio region.
