The 12th Berkshire Conference on the History of Women, "Local Knowledge <--> Global Knowledge," will be held June 6-9, 2002 at the University of Connecticut, Storrs (USA). The full program is now up on the web, and pre-registration has begun. Our site also permits on-line registration for the conference and provides directions for registering by mail, fax or phone. The Berkshire Conference will feature more than 190 panels and roundtables, an extensive book exhibit, and numerous other special events, films and exhibits. Presenters are expected from more than 25 countries. Accommodations are available in the University of Connecticut's newly renovated dormitories. Storrs, Connecticut is located in the Northeastern United States, between New York City and Boston, Massachusetts. The closest airport is Bradley International Airport (Hartford, Connecticut).
