As usual,the World History Association will be sponsoring panels at
next year's AHA annual meeting in Chicago, January 2-4,2003. Anyone interested in submitting a world history panel proposal should first consult the AHA website (www.theaha.org) for requirements and then clear the completed proposal with David Northrup, Vice-President WHA (nortrup@bc.edu). The AHA deadline is Feb.15,2002, so proposals must reach us by Feb.13 at the latest.
WHA sponsorship probably increases the chances of the AHA Program
Committeee accepting a panel,although it certainly does not guarantee it.
