NORTHEAST CONFERENCE ON BRITISH STUDIES
The 2002 Meeting of the Northeast Conference on British Studies will be held October 18-19, 2002 at Yale University in New Haven, CT. The keynote speaker will be Professor Keith Wrightson, speaking on "The Decline of Neighborliness Revisited."
Proposals for papers and panels are welcome in all fields of British Studies. Papers or panels that consider Britain in Atlantic, imperial, or comparative perspective are also welcome.
Please send a brief abstract of the paper proposed, as well as a short (2-page) c.v. to the address below.
With the proposal, please be sure to include a current address, a summer address (if different from the current address), and an email address. Proposals must be mailed by APRIL 20, 2002.
