The American Association of Australian Literary Studies will hold its annual meeting at Kansas City on 18-21 April 2002. Conference theme: Narrative in Australian Fiction and Cinema. The AAALS, with members from North America, Asia, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, was founded in 1986. In additition to its annual conference, AAALS sponsors two affiliate sessions at MLA and publishes Antipodes, a journal of scholarly and creative work.
